MDA camp is amazing. My volunteer this year said that is it the closest thing to heaven on earth. And that is coming from a volunteer. I think that’s cool. Those who go and give their time to help kids have a good time are some of the most amazing people on this earth to me. It could be so hard for them and yet they still love it and continue to come back. For the campers it is even better. It is like going to a place where you can be whoever you want to be. It is as if you are in a entirely different world than you are in the rest of the year. You get to be surrounded by these amazing kids who have all these challenges and yet still manage to make so much of life. The rest of the year it can seem like you’re the only one, but then that week comes and you get to remember that you aren’t. The volunteers and the campers alike are just so great. So are the group leaders and the rest of MDA. Thank you all for the experiences I got to have.

camp is really awsome i thank everyone for wat they do to make us campers be able to go to camp im kinda bummed that this next year will be my last year at camp. but if u never have came to camp trust me when u come u will like it and keep coming and keep on coming u get away for a week and have a blast thanks everyone and MDA staff-nathanial

I signed up to volunteer at the MDA camp this year for my first time! I am so excited, and can’t wait! If you read this and you’re not a volunteer, you are missing out. Everyone in my family has volunteered at MDA camp, and they tell stories and say it is a life-changing experience. I’m excited to help serve others, and to grow myself. Thanks.

This camp sounds amazing. It’s really awesome the kind of people that volunteer their time unselfishly to give these kids an amazing time. Kudos to all of you who do the amazing things that you do. I hope all of you can continue to serve your entire life and I encourage all of you who read this to get active and volunteer and encourage others to do the same.
